Edinburgh Airport says its free pickup and drop-off zone is in the Long Stay car park, a walk from the terminal. The airport says no shuttle buses run between the terminal and the Long Stay car park.
Edinburgh Airport says passengers who need help getting to or from the pickup and drop-off zone can book special assistance in advance through their airline.

How your fare is set
Every booking gets its own fare, shown in the app before you pay. It may be calculated from the road distance or set by our dispatch team. If the app can’t work out a price on its own, your booking is saved while it waits for a fare from the team, and the app checks for it automatically.
When the fare appears, the app tells you: “This is the exact amount you will be charged.” You can accept it and pay, or decline it and the booking is cancelled at no charge.
The fare screen also says: “Airport drop-off and parking charges will be included in your confirmed fare where applicable.”
Card and Apple Pay details go directly to Stripe and are never stored by the app.
